Masahiro MS-8 Deba knife 150mm [10005]
Deba is a Japanese-style knife primarily used for cutting fish, but also suitable for meat. They come in various sizes – from 120 mm to 300 mm. The cutting edge is very durable, allowing it to cut through fish heads or small bones. Deba knives are sharpened on one side and can easily handle filleting or portioning.
Knives from this line are made from a VG-10 derivative, molybdenum-vanadium, high-carbon stainless steel, known as MBS-26 , which has been hardened in three stages to achieve a hardness of 58-59 HRC. Each blade has been refined by masters with over 30 years of experience, making Masahiro knives incredibly sharp.
The handle is crafted with attention to details characteristic of Japan, made from light magnolia wood, reinforced with a plastic ring.
Attention! MS-8 series knives are available with two different logos (in Japanese or Latin script).
