The paring knife is designed for peeling, but it's also a specialist for intricate and slightly more complex tasks, useful where a short, sharp blade is required.

* SG2 (Super Gold #2) powder steel, characterized by high corrosion resistance, colloquially known as stainless steel , is one of the best materials for knife manufacturing. It is created through a complex process where extremely fine steel nanoparticles are combined, heated, and formed into the desired shape. This manufacturing method is completely different from "traditional" smelting and allows for much better performance parameters, and in the case of blades, greater-than-average resistance to dulling.
**Pakkawood is laminated birch or maple wood, impregnated with resin. It boasts very high resistance to heat and moisture and was specifically developed for knife handles.
