The set includes two essential kitchen knives. Here you will find a 200 mm long chef's knife and its Japanese counterpart in the form of a Santoku knife, with a blade length of 167 mm. Santoku is a multi-functional Japanese-style knife, a competitor to the popular chef's knife in the West. Its name means "three virtues" or perhaps "three virtues". There's a reason for this – this knife is perfect for slicing meat, fish, and vegetables. An additional element of the set is an elegant and exclusive cardboard packaging, perfect for a gift.
SENZO ENTREE is the SUNCRAFT product series' entry-level line. The blades of this series of knives are made from clad 3-layer AUS-8 steel. This is a steel similar to the 440 series, with vanadium added to increase its hardness. This steel belongs to stainless steels, i.e., steels with increased corrosion resistance.
SENZO ENTREE line blades have a full tang, inserted into the knife handle with 3 rivets. This makes the tool's handle secure and perfectly balanced, allowing for cutting, chopping, and grinding products with a force that perfectly matches the chef's hand pressure. The central pin is made in the form of a mosaic, which increases the aesthetic value of the knife and undoubtedly attracts attention.
The handles of the products in this series are made of Pakkawood * in black. Special profiling at the base of the knife allows for a free and secure grip. This is also a characteristic feature of this line, giving the knives a subtle, Japanese, and smooth character.
*Pakkawood – is laminated birch or maple wood, impregnated with resin. It is characterized by very high resistance to heat and moisture and was specially developed for knife handles.
