Tetsuhiro KD Santoku 170 mm — a Japanese-made santoku knife for the professional culinary enthusiast. Traditional form with a modern design.
Description
Tetsuhiro KD Santoku 170 mm Kitchen Knife
Santoku is a very characteristic Japanese kitchen knife. Its distinctive low-set tip, strongly curved spine, and flat blade facilitate chopping, slicing, and dicing vegetables. However, no one should be misled by the appearance of this knife. Santoku is equally used in vegan or vegetarian cuisine, as well as for cutting meat, sausages, or fish. It is an exceptionally versatile blade, and its wide profile allows for directly transferring chopped ingredients to a pot or pan.
Characteristic Features.
KD series knives attract attention with their stunning Damascus pattern blade, crafted from VG-10 steel. Each knife is unique, and no two are exactly alike. The high-quality VG-10 steel blade has been hardened to 61 HRC, providing immense hardness and impeccable sharpness. The understated styling is complemented by a black micarta handle in a European style. It is crowned with a steel ring that prevents moisture penetration and facilitates keeping the knife clean.
